Daybook Sept 13, 2011

When you haven't been keeping up with your blog for a while it is hard to know how to jump back into it.  So I thought I would just do a Daybook post and go from there.  Although truth be told I don't know if there will be any more posts as I am awaiting the birth of my 4th child any day now which I'm sure will keep my hands busy.

FOR TODAY
Outside my window...
It is sunny but cool.  This pregnant mother is glad for some cool weather after the plus 30*C we have been having lately.  Also the combining is finished so fall can come now!

I am thinking...about having a new baby in the house.

I am thankful...for a loving, healthy family.

From the learning rooms...the girls are off to school these days and the year seems to be going well for them so far.  LK misses them but has been pretty happy overall.

In the kitchen...I am raosting a chicken tonight so we will have leftovers for the rest of the week.  I am also hoping to make a large pot of applesauce for the girls lunches.

I am wearing...maternity jeans and a baggy blue T-shirt.

I am creating...I just finished crocheting a doll for LK for when the baby comes.  Not sure what my next project will be yet.

I am going...to the city tomorrow for an OB appointment.

I am wondering...when this baby is going to arrive.  Also I have been really curious as to whether it will be a boy or a girl.

I am reading...Rivers of Gold by Tracie Peterson and Caring For Your Child From Birth to Age 5.

I am hoping...for an easy labour and delivery and a healthy baby.

I am looking forward to...meeting this new child.

I am hearing...some country music playing on the computer and crickets chirping.

Around the house...Hubby did a lot of working cleaning out our basement and now the girls are sleeping down there.  So I have nearly empty room to work with upstairs.

One of my favorite things...reading.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Not much, a trip to the city, and then just trying to stay on top of things at home.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...
